Finished: Seeing Stars

The past two weeks have been so productive around my house and in my sewing room to boot! Not only was I able to finish up some of those fun projects this weekend, I was also able to knock another UFO off my list! I was supposed to have this sweet quilt all finished up back in February for the Do Good Stitches Charity Bee, but with morning/afternoon/evening sickness in full swing it got pushed to the back burner.

Thankfully a few weeks ago, I spent some time during Miss J’s naps and pieced both the top and the back and this week got her all quilted up.

This morning, a sweet little label was added and it will be ready to be shipped off to Threading Hope as soon as it’s out of the dryer. :)
All labeled and ready to go!
Throughout the process, I have really enjoyed thinking about the special recipient(s) of this quilt, I hope they feel loved and cherished every time they use it!

  1. Glorious and stunning star quilt! Those colours fit so well together. I'm so happy that I found your blog and see the stars!!!

  2. Whoa. I saw this on Rachel's post yesterday, and I was immediately in love! It always cracks me up when I love a mostly pink quilt, since I always say I don't like the color. I guess I should rephrase to say, I like/love it when it's done right, like it is here. Well done!

Now it's your turn...
